Looking for guidelines on mast rake.
We’re stepping our mast next week. She’s a Hunter 37.5 with a 7/8 fractional rig with double swept back spreaders. Hunter’s documentation does not address rake (doesn’t address much of anything).
Is there a ball park starting point for rake on this type of rig?
(knowing it may need changing after seeing how she sails)
Thanks in advance for refraining from the “get a pro”, “your rigger should know” or “if you have to ask this….” BS responses.
