Chief Engineer Required for 67m, private Exploration Yacht.
Qualification: Chief Engineer Unlimited STCW III/2, possibly MCA Yacht 1 (Y1), all certificates and documents must be up to date. Main Engine Power 1275 kW, 1,058 GRT.
Preference given to candidates with a commercial background, who have recently transitioned into yachting.
Age/Experience: Minimum 40 years old, must have experience with older machinery, although the diesel alternators and much of the other engine room equipment has been replaced recently. Electrical and/or hydraulic knowledge would be preferable, as would experience in drydocking and refits.
Fully vaccinated against Covid 19, with a valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate.
The C/E is supported by a 2/E. He must a very hands-on person, and team player.
This is a long-term, PERMANENT position.
