Polish Yacht Registration: What Owners Should Check with REJA24
Buying or selling a yacht on the Polish register? Start with its current registration document, the hull identifier and the name of the issuing authority. A news report about proposed changes is not evidence that a transfer will be accepted or refused.
Where to check the Polish yacht registration procedure
REJA24 is the Polish register for yachts and other eligible vessels up to 24 metres. Check whether the vessel and its intended use fall within the register, and whether you are making a first application, reporting a change of ownership or removing a vessel from the register. These are different requests.
What to establish before paying a deposit
Ask the seller for the documents supporting ownership and the existing registration. Compare identifying numbers on the documents with the boat. Ask the receiving authority which originals, translations or evidence of deletion it will require for your particular transfer. Registration alone does not establish the yacht’s VAT position.
Which fees and deadlines apply?
Use the current instructions from the Polish Yachting Association and the Ministry of Infrastructure. For a pending application, contact the authority that received it before relying on a fee, deadline or interpretation of a proposed amendment.
