Kirie

Kirie boats for sale

The Kirié shipyard, founded at the turn of the 20th century by Auguste Kirié in Les Sables d’Olonne, initially focused on building small wooden sailing boats. In 1942, Claude Kirié took over, marking a significant turning point. The 1950s and 1960s saw the yard’s shift towards fast boats, participating in competitive races like the “Six heures de Paris.”
In the late 1960s, the shipyard moved to Château d’Olonne, pioneering the use of polyester and launching innovative vessels like the “Anges de mer” and the “Fifty.” The early 1980s brought about the revolutionary “Feeling” range, which won prestigious awards and set new standards in liveaboard cruisers.
Despite ceasing operations in 2000, the Feeling range continued under Alliaura Marine and, later, Privilège Marine. Today, the Feeling range comprises seven models, ranging from 32 to 55 feet, known for their performance, comfort, and timeless design. Used Feeling boats remain highly sought after, embodying sailing excellence for enthusiasts worldwide.
