The Knysna Endurance 37, built in 1988 and launched in 1990, is a substantial cruising yacht designed by Peter Ibolt. She features a GRP hull and deck with an integral keel.
Powered by a Perkins 4/107 diesel engine delivering 50 HP, she offers a traditional sailing setup with a Bellamy aluminium mast and boom, four Harken manual winches and a Profurl headsail furling system.
Her sail inventory includes a North mainsail, a 2024 Ullman genoa, a North spinnaker, a storm jib and a staysail. The standing rigging was inspected in 2024, and the forestay was replaced in the same year.
The Endurance 37 offers accommodation for up to seven people, with two cabins, one heads and a convertible saloon.
The galley is equipped with a gas cooker, oven, built-in refrigerator and water filter, while the yacht also features hot water, three freshwater tanks with a total capacity of 400 litres and a 100-litre holding tank.
On deck, she has a Quick electric windlass, Bruce and CQR anchors, a fixed swimming platform, bimini, sprayhood and cockpit cushions.
Additional equipment includes two solar panels, shore power, six lifejackets, four safety harnesses and a new 2.5 m PVC dinghy from 2026 with a Yamaha 2 HP outboard.
She is in fair condition for her age, with some maintenance items to address, including a small crack in the water heater and a spinnaker halyard jammed at the masthead.
The Endurance 37 is a classic cruising yacht with a practical equipment inventory.
