The 1982 Amel Sharki is a classic sailing vessel, designed with comfort and practicality in mind. The standing rigging has also been carefully maintained, with the forestay replaced in 2021 and other key components like the shrouds and mizzen backstay replaced in 2023, making the boat ready for bluewater cruising. The running rigging is in good condition, complemented by modern sail-handling systems such as a Wichard boom brake and Lazy jacks for both the main and mizzen sails.
