Coronado Yachts

Coronado Yachts for sale

Coronado Yachts, an American sailboat manufacturer nestled in Southern California, boasts a legacy dating back to the 1960s and early 1970s. Remarkably, numerous hulls from this era remain active in sailing and racing circuits to this day.
During the 1970s, Playvisa obtained a license to produce a pair of models, the C25 and C35, at Barcelona’s “Puerto Franco.” Over a span exceeding 15 years, Playvisa manufactured several hundred of these models, with many exported across Europe.

Coronado Yachts primarily operated as an auxiliary brand to Columbia Yachts for the majority of its existence. However, its origins trace back independently to a company named Wesco, which commenced sailboat data production around 1962. Following financial difficulties, Wesco was acquired by Frank Butler, who later established Catalina Yachts.
