Order a Survey and Reserve This Boat

Once the survey is ordered, the boat will be reserved for you as a potential buyer for the duration of the inspection process.

A survey is a comprehensive inspection of the vessel, covering all accessible areas and key components to give you a clear understanding of the boat’s condition.

The survey includes inspection of:

  • The hull and structure, including signs of damage or moisture
  • All onboard systems (engine, electrical, plumbing)
  • Mast, standing and running rigging, and sails
  • Safety equipment and compliance items
  • Navigation and onboard electronics
  • Interior spaces, fittings, and overall condition

Professional pre-purchase survey conducted by an experienced, licensed marine surveyor.

The 1992 Vennekens Koral 46 is a substantial 14.1-metre cruising yacht from Belgian builder Vennekens, a yard known for producing sturdy, low-volume cruising boats. Designed as a capable long-distance cruiser, this yacht combines generous tankage and practical equipment with the comfort and independence expected of a larger offshore yacht.

She is powered by a Ford Lehmann SP90 66.24 kW diesel and carries 1000 litres of diesel and 1000 litres of fresh water, supported by two solar panels and a 4 kW generator.

The boat is equipped with dual hydraulic steering, autopilot, bow thruster, radar, two radios and electric furling for both the headsail and mainsail.

For cruising and extended stays aboard, the yacht is equipped with a hot-water system, electric headsail and mainsail furlers, anchor windlass with a new motor and Rocna anchor, and a selection of mainsail, headsail and staysail.

The inventory also includes a tender with a 6 hp Yamaha outboard, a 6-person liferaft, and miscellaneous onboard equipment. One electric winch is currently non-functional and the liferaft is due for servicing.

The Koral 46 is a relatively uncommon model, with specialist sailing references describing it as a low-volume, robust cruising yacht rather than a mass-produced series boat.

Overall, with her substantial tankage, generator, solar capacity, hydraulic steering, bow thruster and furling systems, she offers a well-equipped platform for comfortable coastal cruising and longer offshore passages.
