The Comfortina 39 is a large sailboat for its time with good speed on all bows. The deck is easy to move on, and the volume below the deck is good, but a smart aft cabin with a berth on either side under the cockpit. The salon is cozy and pleasant with two “armchairs” with smaller tables between them on the port side and a larger C-sofa around a large table on the starboard side.
In the cockpit, the helmsman has a large steering wheel, behind which the helmsman has good control of the boat while sailing. All cases are lowered, and all sail handling takes place from the cockpit designed for sailing, while all the comforts for life in port or at anchor are also present.
A slightly older boat today, with still much to give. The sailing wardrobe is very good with mainsail and genoa in the UK’s X-Drive Carbon from 2019 or 2020. One of several boats under the Comfortina name that really lives up to the well-sailing boat that is also family-friendly, this before the “cruiser-racer” theme crept in in the Swedish language.
