Order a Survey and Reserve This Boat

Once the survey is ordered, the boat will be reserved for you as a potential buyer for the duration of the inspection process.

A survey is a comprehensive inspection of the vessel, covering all accessible areas and key components to give you a clear understanding of the boat’s condition.

The survey includes inspection of:

  • The hull and structure, including signs of damage or moisture
  • All onboard systems (engine, electrical, plumbing)
  • Mast, standing and running rigging, and sails
  • Safety equipment and compliance items
  • Navigation and onboard electronics
  • Interior spaces, fittings, and overall condition

Professional pre-purchase survey conducted by an experienced, licensed marine surveyor.

This Moody 41, built in 1983, is a very well-maintained family cruising yacht presented in good condition

She is powered by a dependable Mercedes OM615 2.0-litre diesel producing 54 HP, supported by a new 90A alternator and integrated controller installed in 2025.

The underwater hull is in great condition, with three coats of Stopany semi-hard antifouling applied in 2022, while the deck has recently been painted with anti-slip coating. The topsides retain their original paint but have been recently polished.

The yacht has a comprehensive sail inventory including mainsail, genoa, storm jib and spinnaker, all approximately five years old and in good condition, with the genoa repaired in 2024.

Handling is supported by electric anchor windlass with wireless remote, self-tailing winches, headsail furler, Raymarine Autohelm 4000 autopilot, Raytheon ST40 speed/depth instrumentation and NASA Target2 wind system.

A brand-new Zodiac Aero tender with a 2 HP Honda outboard, fitted with a new carburettor in 2025, is also included.

The interior is spacious and particularly well suited to family cruising, with a generous saloon, three separate sleeping areas and two heads. The large aft stateroom has a double berth, dressing table and en-suite head, while the forecabin and port cabin provide additional berths and storage.

The U-shaped galley features twin stainless-steel sinks, a gimballed two-burner cooker and oven, custom shelving and extended lockers.

Modern upgrades include a 290 Ah LFP battery, 2kW solar charger/inverter, 450W solar panel installed in 2025, 230 V water heating, custom A++ fridge/freezer and A+++ washing machine

With a center cockpit seating up to eight, folding dodger and bimini, swim platform and extensive cruising equipment, this Moody 41 is a practical, comfortable yacht, ready for her next adventures.
