Impressive Levrier 18, designed by renowned naval architects Finot-Conq and built in aluminium by Leguen Hemidy in 2006. Inspired by the design principles of IMOCA 60 ocean-racing yachts, she combines outstanding sailing performance with exceptional seaworthiness and robust construction.
Her aluminium hull, reinforced with 10–6 mm plating, welded 4 mm deck, fixed keel with a 5.2-tonne ballast bulb and twin independent rudders provide strength, stability and confidence in demanding conditions.
Despite her performance-oriented design, Zorya is remarkably easy to handle, even single-handed or with a reduced crew.
With an impressive sail area of 210 m² upwind and 370 m² downwind, she offers exhilarating sailing potential while remaining suitable for extended offshore passages and bluewater cruising.
The spacious deck features wide, unobstructed side decks, a large, well-protected cockpit and easy access to the aft deck. Inside, the yacht offers three cabins accommodating six people comfortably, with additional berths available.
The forward owner’s cabin features a double bed, complemented by a central cabin with a convertible double berth and an aft cabin with a generous double bed. The bright, centrally located saloon benefits from the yacht’s impressive 5.26-metre beam, with surrounding sofa seating and space for a removable dining table suitable for entertaining guests.
The interior has insulated decks and topsides, bamboo-finished bulkheads and teak-finished flooring. A well-equipped galley features an ENO cooker and oven, stainless-steel worktops and sink, hot and cold water, seawater supply and a 70-litre refrigerator.
Additional comforts include a 60-litre water heater and a 60-litre-per-hour watermaker, making ZORYA well suited to independent living aboard.
ZORYA is equipped for serious offshore sailing, with a Volvo TAMD 22 78 HP diesel engine, approximately 2500 operating hours, a 3.8 kW Fisher Panda generator, retractable Max Power bow thruster and a comprehensive NKE navigation and autopilot system.
Her electronics include Furuno NavNet radar with chartplotter, Raymarine VHF, Class B AIS and Iridium satellite communications.
The extensive sail inventory includes an Elvström full-batten mainsail, multiple genoas and Solent jibs, staysail, Code 0, gennaker and a large symmetric spinnaker, supported by Maréchal spars, rod standing rigging and Andersen winches.
Her energy systems include solar panels, a Victron inverter and multiple battery banks.
With 550 litres of fuel, 580 litres of fresh water, substantial ground tackle, a tender with a 9.8 HP outboard and a range of protective cockpit covers, ZORYA is a capable and versatile yacht for fast ocean passages, long-distance cruising and ambitious sailing adventures.
