The Dazcat 920 SBC (Sports Bridgedeck Catamaran) is an exceptionally rare racing catamaran, built by the renowned UK specialist multihull builder Dazcat. 

Designed for sailors who value speed, efficiency, and simplicity rather than volume alone, she represents a unique opportunity to own a lightweight, fast, and highly capable multihull. 

Originally commissioned in 1996 by Dr Gordon Baird of Scotland for competitive sailing, she was launched as a lightweight composite yacht constructed using polyester/vinyl ester resin with foam sandwich technology, maintaining an original displacement of only around 2,000 kg. 

She offers excellent stability and impressive sailing performance while remaining compact, economical to maintain, and easy to handle.

After years of successful cruising in the UK and Europe, including an extensive refurbishment period between 2007 and 2009, she has continued to prove herself as a capable coastal cruiser with offshore potential. 

She delivers impressive sailing speeds for her size, comfortably achieving 5–6 knots in light winds and reaching 10–12 knots in moderate conditions. 

Recent upgrades include a new dyneema trampoline, freshly painted hull and deck, new acrylic hatch windows, new lazy bag, upgraded lithium battery system, solar installation, and updated navigation equipment. 

Equipped with a Honda BF20 four-stroke outboard, 340W solar panels, AIS transceiver, autopilot, chartplotter, fridge, tender, and extensive cruising equipment, she is ready for adventures in the Mediterranean and beyond.
