Order a Survey and Reserve This Boat

Once the survey is ordered, the boat will be reserved for you as a potential buyer for the duration of the inspection process.

A survey is a comprehensive inspection of the vessel, covering all accessible areas and key components to give you a clear understanding of the boat’s condition.

The survey includes inspection of:

  • The hull and structure, including signs of damage or moisture
  • All onboard systems (engine, electrical, plumbing)
  • Mast, standing and running rigging, and sails
  • Safety equipment and compliance items
  • Navigation and onboard electronics
  • Interior spaces, fittings, and overall condition

Professional pre-purchase survey conducted by an experienced, licensed marine surveyor.

The 1976 Columbia 57, designed by the legendary Bill Tripp Sr., is a true classic blue-water cruiser combining timeless lines with strong offshore capability. Built in fiberglass with a displacement hull, semi-long keel, and lead ballast, she offers excellent stability, seaworthiness, and smooth motion at sea.

This cutter-rigged monohull is designed for serious passagemaking while remaining manageable for experienced sailors. Her rig features a single mast with two spreader sets, upgraded in 2010, supported by nine winches and a practical sail plan including a full-batten mainsail, staysail, and furling Yankee, making her well suited for long-distance cruising.

On deck, the boat is thoughtfully equipped for comfortable and safe sailing, with a protected cockpit, sprayhood, cockpit table, external cushions, and a full range of navigation and safety instruments including Raymarine electronics, autopilot, EPIRB, SSB radio, and multiple bilge pumps.

A Volvo Penta 105 HP engine provides reliable auxiliary power, supported by a solid electrical setup with multiple batteries, alternators, inverter, and shore-powered systems. Generous tankage, with 800 liters of fresh water and 450 liters of fuel, enhances her autonomy for extended voyages. Additional features such as a Bruce anchor with windlass, tender with outboard, and complete mooring equipment make her fully prepared for cruising.

Inside, the Columbia 57 offers warm, practical accommodations for up to 10 people across three cabins and two heads. The spacious aft owner’s cabin includes ample storage, while the forward twin cabin and midship bunk cabin provide comfortable guest accommodation.

A well-appointed galley with a three-burner gimbaled stove (2020), oven, double sink, and front-opening refrigerator supports life aboard, complemented by a generous dinette area.
