The Bavaria Cruiser 46 (2016) is a spacious and exceptionally well-equipped sailing yacht, presented in the desirable 4-cabin, 3-head configuration. Designed for comfortable cruising, she offers generous accommodation, a practical deck layout and a spacious teak-finished cockpit with a hydraulic bathing platform. 

Her Volvo Penta D2-55, 53 hp engine has approximately 2100 hours and underwent a comprehensive overhaul in 2025–2026. The engine was completely removed from the yacht and professionally inspected and tested on a workshop test bench, with the necessary repairs, adjustments, cleaning and replacement of components carried out. 

The saildrive and gearbox were also diagnosed and serviced, while a new propeller was installed and the original propeller sent for restoration. The saildrive rubber seal was replaced with a new one. Following this work, the engine is running exceptionally smoothly and quietly.

The yacht has also received significant attention to her manoeuvring and deck systems. The bow thruster electric motor was removed and professionally rebuilt, including rewinding and replacement of necessary components. 

The electric motor and windlass have been serviced, while the engine-room ventilation fan motor has been replaced with a new unit. 

On deck, the hull sides have been professionally polished and the teak has been sanded and treated. A new gangway has also been installed. 

The sailing and canvas inventory was renewed in recent years, including the furling mainsail, furling genoa, sprayhood and bimini in 2022, while the Garmin navigation equipment includes a cockpit chartplotter, autopilot, wind instruments and a VHF installed in 2023.

For extended cruising, the Bavaria is equipped with a Fischer Panda generator, 2 × 120 W solar panels, inverter, heating, hot-water boiler and three electric sea toilets. 

The yacht also comes with a 2.60 m dinghy and 2.5 hp outboard, life raft, EPIRB and comprehensive anchoring equipment including a 20 kg Delta anchor with 80 m of chain. 

The starter and service batteries are in their second season and currently in satisfactory condition, while the bow-thruster battery is new.
