Ok, so I’m sure it’s been covered.
But looking at pricing
110 a month for residential
135 a month for rv
5000 a month for marine????
Not hard to see that’s a really hefty price jump, first question what’s stopping me from using the rv or residential on my boat? Also with a price jump like that what are the benefits? TIA

A boat / yacht is nothing more than an RV without wheels. Instead of “arguing” about geofencing and who will or won’t be able to get service, we should be petitioning Starlink to keep RV service running on boats. The ability to communicate, get real-time weather, download charts, update navigational systems, etc. should be communicated to Starlink. I have sent these ideas but I’m sure one person mentioning this to Starlink is falling on deaf ears.
As far as your question goes, $5,000 is for large commercial ships. People are using the RV plan on their boats.
