Hey everyone, so I’m trying to operate my water maker correctly, but do not have the correct instruction manual for it.
It’s a Seaquencher 200.
Firstly, I’ll say that the water maker works and pumps water into my designated tank BUT I’m still unclear on a few things.
- The gauge appears to have clocked right around to past it pressure zone?
- I’m unclear how to freshwater flush it, although I know that it has been plumbed to my freshwater tank I’m unsure on which way to turn the valves or want to have open and closed as far is the Seacocks..
- Just basic operation of the machine, I know these these are simple when you know how to use them but I’m finding it complicated as I don’t exactly know how it has been set up or how to operate one correctly.
I’ve done quite some research online and it hasn’t really helped me too much so asking you folks as a last option and hopefully fingers crossed someone has an instruction manual for it!
Turn on pump , slowly rotate HP valve to build pressure, it basically chokes freeflow of seawafer from HP pump forcinng it to flow through very resistant membranes, hense pressure build up. Watch floater in clear tube showing you water making output rate. Keep it wihin rated range. Reverse all these to stop watermaker
Once its off and only then flip rinse valve 180 degrees to CLEANING FLOW your boat water system will flow into pump and hoses and rinse them. Make sure your boat freshwater pump is on ie water runs from faucets etc
