Trying to keep birds off my spreaders in hopes of keeping my deck cleaner. I’ve seen other boats that have strung what looks like 0.020″ safety wire a couple inches above the spreader from mast to shroud.
Does this work?
How would you attach it to the mast? My thought is an 8-32 monel screw at the mast with the head drilled for the wire and just wrapping it around the shroud.
