Sailing Practice
The Canaries are amongst the most gorgeous islands in the world, the islands of everlasting spring. Probably, the best way to explore the archipelago is on a yacht.
During the week, we will visit Tenerife, La Palma, and La Gomera. Three islands – three different worlds.
Every day we will practice the boating skills, such as mooring, sailing, navigation and route planning.
We will get on board the yacht in San Miguel marina, located 10 km from the Tenerife South airport (TFS).

- Pilotage and passage planning
- Routine for navigating a coastal passage

- Ropes, knots, care and use of lines
- General deck work
- Collision regulations
- Lights and shapes
- Refueling the yacht
- Yacht engine operation
- Advanced dingy handling
- Use of navigation aids and paper charts
- Man overboard procedure
- Radio communications

We will train on the sailing yacht oceanis 46.1
The cost is EUR 800/person for a place in a double cabin, EUR 1600 full cabin
For reservations made before January 20, the discounted price shall be EUR 750/pers
The price includes :
Accommodation in a double-bed cabin on a yacht or catamaran
Professional skipper
Final cleaning
Bedding and towels
Dinghy with a motor for landing on islands and beaches
The price doesn’t include:
Flight
Ship’s cash desk (food, fuel, parking) – 200 – 250 euros
Security deposit, refundable at the end of the tour
