On many websites its recommended that StarLink be integrated with cell service to prevent service dropouts by using additional routers like Peplink. Especially when using Zoom for business. I haven’t seen any mentions on this site of Cruisers integrating cellular with SL in Sea of Cortez. Is anyone doing that or is the SL so good it not necessary to integrate with cellular?
On a previous cruising season in Sea of Cortez, I found internet via cellular to be unreliable. My service provider is Verizon and Tel Cell throttled me down to 3G regularly.

See how you like it before adding complexity. I haven’t bothered to disable my motors because the software updates have stopped the frequent motor activity that was a real problem in the early days. And I wasted a bunch of hours getting my Peplink setup and tuning Speedfusion only to find the improvement was very small (and sometimes made it worse). I’ve done hundreds of hours of Zoom meetings and find the occasional 2 second interruptions not a real problem. Maybe one happens an hour. Sometimes none. If I’m not talking when it happens, no one notices. People on a Zoom call using a cell phone tend to have many more glitches than Starlink.
