In 1986 it was bought by a Swedish couple (the current owners) who sailed the X-TRA around the world between 1988 – 1992. It has since been used in Scandinavia, mainly on the Swedish west coast, as a floating summer house. Since 1993 (for 29 years!) the X-TRA has been serviced and stored in a heated hall at Vindö Marin during the winter.

Both masts are roller masts and have been recently updated and painted (white). The main mast is hydraulically operated and the mezzanine mast is manual. An electric furler for the genoa was installed in about 2018. The teak deck and mahogany superstructure are in good condition. The sails have been regularly serviced and are in good condition. The well-protected center cockpit has a fixed windshield with opening center window and a beautiful mahogany steering wheel.
